Job description

SEKISUI Diagnostics is looking for an experienced, hands-on Associate Director of IT to lead our Infrastructure, Security, and Service Desk team. If you are energized by solving complex technology challenges, building reliable and secure systems, and developing high-performing teams, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact across a global organization. 

Who are you? You bring 10+ years of experience in computer information systems, with deep expertise in IT infrastructure, security, networks, cloud services, databases, telecommunications, and hybrid environments. You know how to keep systems secure, reliable, and scalable—and you understand how to connect technology strategy to business needs. You have experience leading and developing technical teams, creating clarity around priorities, and helping people do their best work. You are a strong project leader who can manage priorities, anticipate roadblocks, and deliver results on time.  

What will make you successful? In this role, you will lead with both technical depth and people-focused management. You will guide infrastructure, security, and service desk operations while coaching and developing talent, setting clear goals, and building a responsive, customer-focused support organization. Your experience with quality validation processes will help ensure our systems and practices support a strong Quality System and align with approved standards.  

This role is designed for a leader who is ready to:  

  • Lead and support infrastructure operations across networks, databases, cloud services, telecommunications, and hybrid environments, including upgrades, provisioning, monitoring, availability, and security. 
  • Manage, coach, and develop infrastructure, security, and Service Desk team members while setting clear expectations, prioritizing work, and measuring performance. 
  • Ensure IT architecture, hardware, core systems, and support services enable employee productivity, business continuity, and SEKISUI Diagnostics’ growth objectives. 
  • Partner with business units and the Head of IT to deliver practical infrastructure and security solutions aligned with Global IT Strategy and Standards. 
  • Oversee service delivery across the US, Canada, UK, and Germany, including cross-training plans, employee technology training, and responsive end-user support. 
  • Support IT budget planning, asset management, after-hours system availability, reporting, metrics, and standards that drive reliability, security, and continuous improvement. 
  • Travel as needed to support business priorities and team collaboration (1-2 wks/yr) 

This is a remote position, however the ideal candidate will be located in Massachusetts/the northeast US.  

SEKISUI offers a competitive compensation and benefits package    

The anticipated salary for this position is $175,000-$190,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentives and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
