Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Greet guests, volunteers, and ministry partners with warmth and hospitality, reflecting Young Life’s values
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and take messages as needed
  • Maintain organized files and databases, including donor and volunteer records
  • Prepare routine correspondence, memos, and reports
  • Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and ministry-related events as directed
  • Perform basic data entry and maintain simple databases or spreadsheets
  • Support staff with basic clerical tasks such as photocopying, filing, and scanning
  • Assist with hospitality duties for staff and volunteer meetings (e.g., coffee, snacks, setup)
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including donations and other ministry correspondence
  • Maintain confidentiality, especially regarding donor information and prayer requests
  • Order and inventory office and ministry supplies
  • Provide general support to staff, committee members, and volunteers as needed
  • Uphold and represent Young Life’s mission, vision and values in all interactions
  • Follow established policies and procedures
  • Learn and use basic office software and Young Life tools and databases
  • Complete assigned tasks with supervision and attention to detail

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma and 1 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Specific Working Conditions:


Note: The anticipated hourly rate for this position can range from $14.30 - $17.85 per hour depending on relevant education, experience, and location.
