Your opportunity

At Mission Australia, attracting exceptional people is critical to delivering meaningful outcomes for the communities we serve.

As a Senior Talent Attraction Advisor, you will blend operational recruitment expertise with team leadership responsibilities, partnering closely with the National Manager Talent Attraction to ensure the delivery of a high-performing, customer-focused talent attraction.

You will take ownership of a recruitment portfolio, build strong partnerships with business leaders, drive innovative sourcing approaches and support the leadership, development and success of the Talent Attraction team through coaching, mentoring and operational guidance.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop talent pipelines and implement proactive sourcing strategies to identify, engage and secure high-quality talent.
  • Partner with leaders to understand workforce needs and deliver tailored recruitment and talent attraction solutions.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring quality, consistency, compliance and outstanding hiring outcomes.
  • Coach and support hiring managers to effectively recruit and make informed hiring decisions.
  • Deliver a positive and engaging experience for candidates and hiring leaders throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring recruitment advertising, communications and candidate interactions reflect Mission Australia's values and purpose.
  • Support the National Manager Talent Attraction through coaching, mentoring, operational leadership and team capability development.
  • Lead or contribute to talent attraction projects, process improvements, systems optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyse recruitment data and market insights to drive performance, improve hiring outcomes and support strategic decision-making.

Requirements for success

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in internal recruitment managing end-to-end processes.
  • Experience using Workday recruitment systems and reporting tools is required
  • Demonstrated success partnering with leaders and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience developing talent pipelines and using strategic sourcing methodologies to attract quality talent.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practice, assessment methods and candidate attraction strategies.
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor hiring managers and team members.
  • Strong problem-solving, relationship management and customer service capability.
  • Experience within compliance focused or highly regulated environments is highly regarded.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline are preferred.
