Job description

What success looks like in this role:

The Senior Talent Management Specialist supports the design, implementation, and evaluation of employee development and talent management initiatives. This role combines analytical expertise in learning and development with talent management practices to enhance employee performance, engagement, career growth, and organizational effectiveness. 

You will work closely with HR Business Partners, business leaders, employees, and external partners to support learning, leadership, career development, and talent initiatives while leveraging data and insights to drive continuous improvement and business impact. 

Key Responsibilities 

Capability Development & Stakeholder Collaboration 

  • Conduct training needs assessments through stakeholder consultations to identify development priorities and capability gaps. 

  • Facilitate instructor-led (ILT) and virtual instructor-led (VILT) training programs. 

  • Measure learning effectiveness, evaluate training outcomes, and assess return on investment (ROI). 

  • Manage learning management systems (LMS), training records, and related program administration. 

  • Support the design and delivery of learning, leadership development, and career development programs. 

  • Coordinate talent management initiatives and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Partner with HR Business Partners, business leaders, and employees to drive talent and development initiatives. 

  • Provide project coordination and administrative support for HR development programs and initiatives. 

Data Analysis & Reporting 

  • Analyze HR, learning, and talent management data to generate actionable insights. 

  • Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations for business and HR stakeholders. 

  • Identify trends and recommend enhancements to learning and talent development programs. 

  • Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with organizational standards and policies. 

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. 

  • Experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related discipline. 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations. 

  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, and business presentations using data insights. 

  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and reporting tools. 

  • Working knowledge of learning and development principles, instructional design, and adult learning methodologies. 

  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and talent management platforms. 

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills. 

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality.
