Job Summary

    Travel may be required in this position.

Summary:

The Director of Information Technology provides IT vision and leadership across Healthcare Technologies Solutions (HTS).  This includes strategic leadership around systems process and architecture, data analytics, business intelligence application, development and maintenance, infrastructure, cybersecurity, quality management, IT management and technical services.  This leader has an exemplary understanding of medical device cybersecurity.  The Director will oversee the expansion of HTS operational applications footprint to enhance existing HTS processes, deliver platforms for new service offerings and enhance integration with both client and back-office operations.  Direct responsibility for HTS’ Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) system and the Quality Management System.  

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

An advisor to the HTS leadership team. 

Leads IT governance framework.

Provides strategic leadership for information system functions including: Informatics, Cybersecurity, Quality Management, Call Center and hardware technology (computers, phone system etc.). 

Leads team to use data analytics, data visualization and data modeling techniques and technologies to identify trends that can help clients, departments, managers and business leaders to make business decisions to modernize and improve processes in the organization.

Oversees the management of IT vendor licensing and managed service contracts in coordination with the Vendor Management Office.  Seek approvals for new technology needs through the Compass One Technology Governance Committee.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•    A minimum of twelve (8) years’ experience in healthcare or service operations Information Technology.

•    Strong experience with vendor selection, RFP generation, and contract negotiations.

•    Proven experience with ServiceNow and customization of the ServiceNow software platform.

•    Experienced in successful resolution of complex problems under pressure.

•    Experience with both waterfall and agile system development methodologies.

•    Understanding of IT governance frameworks (ITIL, COBIT, CMMI, ISO 38500, ISO 2700, etc.)

EDUCATION:

•    Must have an undergraduate or graduate degree in Information Technology or related field from a recognized accredited (or foreign equivalent) university or college. A master’s degree is strongly preferred.

•    Experience with DICOM compliant architecture, EPIC and/or other EMR systems, CMMS systems and back-office systems is strongly preferred.

•    Training in IT governance.

•    Training in Systems Development Lifecycle methodologies.
