Job description

Progressive Leasing is a leading provider of in-store and e-commerce lease-to-own solutions. With more than 20 years in FinTech, we’ve grown from start-up to industry leader by innovating, simplifying, and valuing people. We are a subsidiary of PROG Holdings (NYSE: PRG), a FinTech holding company with three business segments: Progressive Leasing, Purchasing Power (a leading employee purchase program for consumer products and services using payroll deduction), and Four, a Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) platform.

About Four Technologies

Four Technologies is a rapidly-growing Miami-based financial technology company founded in 2018, offering Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) solutions. Its innovative platform, Four, enables shoppers to split purchases into four interest-free installments, while helping retailers drive higher conversion, larger average order values, and stronger revenue growth.

About the Role

We're looking for a Growth Marketing Lead to own how shoppers discover Four, fall in love with the brand, and keep coming back — with a heavy emphasis on Gen Z and the emerging customer segments that will define Four's next decade. This is a senior individual-contributor role: you won't manage a team, you'll command a system. At Four, a single marketer operating an AI-powered content and growth engine produces the output of a department many times their size — and this role is where that leverage lives.

This is not a traditional marketing role. You won't hand work to agencies or wait on vendors. You'll own the growth function end-to-end — building the content systems, running the channels, activating creators, and measuring everything yourself — with AI agents and automation doing the heavy lifting so your time goes to strategy, creative direction, and results. You'll think like a strategist, create like an artist, and operate like a founder.

Four operates with a lean, AI-first philosophy. We grow our team deliberately — adding talent at a measured pace and leaning on AI agents and automation to handle increasing volume at consistent quality, so we keep expanding profitability and competitiveness as we scale — and we capture everything we learn in four-os, our company operating system as code. Marketing is the sharpest example of that philosophy in the company. You'll own and advance Four's AI-powered content and growth engine — the systems that scan culture in real time, generate compliant video and carousel content, and ship it across channels daily — pushing it further than it's gone and building the growth strategy that turns its output into followers, installs, and loyal shoppers. Every campaign generates data that makes the next one better, and every playbook you build becomes a compounding asset rather than tribal knowledge.

This role is also a rare seat for someone with an entrepreneur's ambition. You'll run growth the way an operator runs a business — owning the funnel, the budget logic, the experiments, and the story the numbers tell. You'll learn, firsthand, how a modern company actually grows — gaining the kind of operator's education that few marketers early in their careers ever get.

This role reports directly to Four's President and partners closely with paid acquisition and data — Four is deliberately keeping its organization flat as AI reshapes how much one person can own, and this role sits at that level. It is a fully distributed position with Eastern US time zone alignment required; Miami-based is a plus but not a requirement. Periodic travel to Miami, FL and Draper, UT for strategic planning and key events.

What You'll Do

Growth Strategy & Audience

  • Own Four's organic growth strategy end-to-end — full-funnel from awareness to install to first order to repeat purchase — and translate company goals into a growth roadmap with measurable targets

  • Own the brand-as-growth thesis: move Four from "a payment app" to a brand shoppers choose to follow, grounded in how people — with a heavy emphasis on Gen Z and emerging customer segments — actually discover and stick with brands

  • Make Four's unique product offerings clear to shoppers — what Four does today and what's coming next — and articulate how Four differs from the competition and why it's the ideal way for people to pay

  • Define the audiences, cultural territories, and content pillars that earn attention, and decide where to lean in, where to experiment, and where to walk away

  • Partner with the broader team to connect growth initiatives to real business outcomes — installs, activated shoppers, and revenue, not vanity metrics

AI-Powered Content Engine

  • Own and extend Four's automated content pipeline — real-time trend intelligence, content-brief generation, AI video and carousel production, compliance gating, and delivery — so it reliably produces the right content at the right moment

  • Run a daily content motion across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging channels, keeping quality and cultural relevance high while volume scales

  • Continuously improve the engine — output quality, production cost, compliance coverage — so every run is better than the last, and document the playbooks and learnings in four-os so the system appreciates over time

  • Evaluate and adopt emerging AI creation tools, and fold the ones that earn their place into the pipeline

Brand, Social & Community

  • Own Four's brand voice and visual identity in practice — the standard for what Four sounds and looks like across every customer touchpoint

  • Grow and engage Four's social communities, building a genuine two-way layer (community management and on-brand, compliant engagement) rather than a one-way broadcast

  • Lead the organic engagement-and-recovery playbook that rebuilds reach and turns the audience into a community

  • Use social listening across channels to understand what shoppers love, what confuses them, and what they wish Four did — and feed those insights back to Product so the experience keeps improving and the install base grows more easily

Creator & Partnership Programs

  • Build and run Four's creator and influencer program — identify and brief the right micro-creators, activate them, manage budget, and turn social proof into reach Four can't manufacture on its own

  • Prove creator-driven acquisition efficiency against paid benchmarks, and scale the partnerships that work

Measurement & Growth Experiments

  • Define the metrics that matter — reach, engagement, install, conversion, creator efficiency — and build the reporting that gives the team real-time visibility into what's working

  • Run a disciplined test-and-learn loop: form a hypothesis, ship it, read the result, and scale, iterate, or kill on evidence

  • Partner with paid acquisition and data on attribution and ROAS so every growth decision is grounded in real unit economics

Compliance by Design

  • Partner closely with Compliance and Legal so that regulatory requirements — FTC endorsement and advertising guidelines, state disclosure rules, and BNPL-specific obligations — are built into the content workflow as a seamless step, not a bottleneck

  • Maintain an auditable record of marketing approvals, and keep the pipeline's automated compliance guardrails current as rules evolve

What You'll Bring

Experience & Capability

  • A degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field — or equivalent demonstrated capability

  • Demonstrated experience owning a modern marketing motion end-to-end — building content systems, running social channels, and shipping real campaigns through an internship, a personal venture, or a prior role

  • Hands-on fluency with AI tools as build instruments: you orchestrate them to produce finished work and entire systems, not just casual prompting

  • A portfolio of shipped work — content that went live, systems you built, and results you can point to

  • Comfortable with technology-company tools: Git, Jira, Slack, and similar platforms are part of your workflow

  • A bias toward going and getting the data you need to make a decision, rather than waiting for someone to hand it to you

Working Style

  • Entrepreneurial and self-directed — you don't wait for permission or a team to get things done, and you treat the function like a business you own

  • Creative and data-driven in equal measure — you believe great marketing is the intersection of art and analytics

  • Ambitious to a fault — you're not satisfied hitting a goal when AI gives you the leverage to multiply it

  • Comfortable building the plane while flying it in a lean, fast-moving environment where you own outcomes end-to-end

  • High integrity and attention to detail, especially around regulatory compliance

  • Curious and improvement-oriented — you treat every campaign and every pipeline run as a learning loop that makes the next one better

Growth Path

  • This role is a launchpad, not a ceiling. As you prove what one person and their agents can do, your scope grows with you — deeper on the individual-contributor track as you take on more of Four's growth engine, or toward broader marketing leadership as the team grows around you

  • You'll graduate from running growth as a craft to understanding it as a business — budgets, unit economics, and the levers that move a company — and carry that operator's fluency into everything you own at Four

Commitment & Availability

  • Eastern time zone alignment required; Miami-based is a plus but not required

  • Comfortable with the pace of a high-growth fintech where priorities shift and speed matters

  • Willing to travel periodically to Miami, FL and Draper, UT for strategic planning, team collaboration, and key events

We Offer

  • Competitive Compensation

  • Opportunity to advance on the leadership track

  • Full Health Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance + Paid Parental Leave

  • Company Matched 401k

  • Paid Time Off + Paid Holidays + Paid Volunteer Hours

  • Employee Resource Groups (Black Inclusion Group, Women in Leadership, PRIDE, Adelante)

  • Employee Stock Purchase Program

  • Tuition Reimbursement

  • Charitable Gift Matching

  • Job required equipment and services
