Job description

We are looking for a Senior Content Catalog Specialist to lead the creation, optimization, and management of product catalog content across Amazon, Walmart, and other eCommerce marketplaces. This role is responsible for ensuring product detail pages are accurate, structured, discoverable, and optimized for both customer experience and AI-driven commerce.

As a senior member of the team, you will oversee end-to-end catalog execution while driving continuous improvements in data quality, structured content, automation, and operational excellence. You will manage a portfolio of priority brands, providing strategic recommendations to improve product discoverability, search performance, and conversion.

Our ideal candidate has extensive experience with Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central, possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and is passionate about leveraging emerging technologies and AI-enabled solutions to enhance digital shelf performance. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of complex catalog initiatives, mentors team members, and collaborates effectively with Brand Management, internal stakeholders, and clients.


DAILY DELIVERABLES

  • Create, optimize, and maintain product detail pages across Amazon, Walmart, and other eCommerce marketplaces.

  • Ensure product titles, bullet points, descriptions, attributes, keywords, and metadata follow structured content and AI-readiness standards.

  • Manage end-to-end catalog operations including New Item Setups (NIS), product variations, merges, suppressions, and listing availability.

  • Upload, maintain, and optimize product images, videos, enhanced brand content, and other digital assets.

  • Conduct routine and quarterly catalog audits to ensure listing accuracy, completeness, compliance, and overall content quality.

  • Investigate and resolve complex catalog issues through root cause analysis and corrective action.

  • Maintain clean, accurate, and structured product data to support catalog integrity across multiple platforms.

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation, process standardization, and technology adoption.

  • Utilize catalog management and eCommerce tools such as PIM platforms, CIQ, Refibuy, Jungle Scout, Keepa, Analytic Index, and similar solutions.

  • Monitor catalog performance and provide recommendations to improve search visibility, discoverability, conversion, and overall digital shelf performance.

  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and performance insights for Brand Management, leadership, and internal stakeholders.

  • Collaborate closely with Brand Management, Digital Shelf, Creative, and other cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate execution.

  • Support client meetings by providing catalog health updates, optimization recommendations, and strategic content insights when required.

  • Mentor junior Catalog Specialists, assist with onboarding, and contribute to process documentation and team knowledge sharing.

  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, Brand Registry, or other major eCommerce platforms.

  • At least 3 years of agency or related eCommerce experience preferred.

  • Strong understanding of Amazon catalog structure, listing optimization, and marketplace best practices.

  • Experience managing Walmart Marketplace or other retail platforms is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of structured product data, taxonomy, metadata, SEO, and digital shelf optimization.

  • Familiarity with Product Information Management (PIM) systems and eCommerce analytics tools is highly preferred.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Lookups, and data analysis functions.

  • Experience identifying workflow improvements through automation and process optimization.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present recommendations to internal teams and clients.

  • Demonstrates leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.

  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
