Job description

SCOPE OF POSITION:

The primary responsibility of the Delivery Lead is to drive the successful delivery of projects and support day-to-day IT delivery activities across the organization. This role ensures that technology solutions and digital platforms are delivered effectively and operate optimally to support business operations, dealer operations, enhance customer experience, and enable stakeholder and partner engagement.

The Delivery Lead is accountable for coordinating project teams, aligning delivery with business objectives, and maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and execution, including leading modernization initiatives to evolve legacy systems and platforms into scalable, future-ready solutions.

This role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders, product owners, and technical development teams, translating functional requirements into technical deliverables, driving execution, and ensuring high-quality, on-time, and cost-effective delivery. The Delivery Lead enforces SDLC governance (Honda J-flow), ensures adherence to architectural standards, and enables teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions on the Salesforce platform.

Responsibilities

The role requires a strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including integration patterns and data models, as well as familiarity with Agentic AI technologies (e.g., Salesforce Agentforce or similar AI-driven frameworks) to support the delivery of intelligent, scalable, and modern solutions.

1. Delivery Leadership & Execution

  • Lead 2–3 concurrent projects with full ownership of scope, timeline, cost, and quality

  • Ensure end-to-end delivery from requirements through design, development, testing, and deployment

  • Establish and manage project plans, milestones, and deliverables

  • Lead modernization initiatives, including system upgrades, platform transformations, and migration of legacy capabilities to modern architecture.

2. Requirements & Solution Translation

  • Translate functional user stories into technical user stories for development teams

  • Ensure requirements are clear, complete, and aligned with architecture and platform capabilities

  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to refine backlog and priorities

3. Technical Governance & Architecture Alignment

  • Partner with System Design Team (Architecture) to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and target architecture

  • Validate design decisions across Salesforce platform, Integration patterns (e.g., MuleSoft or equivalent), and Data flows and AI / Agentic components

  • Ensure modernization efforts align with enterprise architecture roadmap and long-term platform strategy

4. Planning, Estimation & Execution Control

  • Work with technical teams to Create work breakdown structures (WBS) and Develop effort estimates and delivery plans.

  • Track Burn-down / velocity, Resource utilization, Project cost vs. plan

5. Agile Delivery & Team Enablement

  • Lead Agile ceremonies such as Daily standups (scrums), Sprint planning and Reviews and retrospectives

  • Remove blockers and support teams in resolving issues

  • Ensure Jira is accurate, up-to-date, and reflects real-time delivery status

6. Stakeholder Communication & Governance

  • Communicate with Product Owners, Business stakeholders, and Senior management

  • Maintain and report Project status and RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)

  • Provide clear, concise, and actionable updates

7. SDLC & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure adherence to SDLC processes (approval gates, implementation plans) and Governance and compliance standards

  • Drive quality through Design reviews, Code quality expectations, and Testing alignment (SIT/UAT support)

Any other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters required - Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or Mathematics focus preferred

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred

  • Sales, MuleSoft or Data Management Certification preferred

  • IT Experience of 5-8 years

  • Have managed project teams / departments greater than 3 people

  • Project Management and Production Support experience

  • Previously managed medium to large projects

  • Conflict Resolution

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to multitask – manage 2-3 project simultaneously

  • Experience with usage of AI in day to day work

  • Various technical skills and understandings (based on specific functions to be managed), Customer Service, Communication, People Leadership

  • Project Management

  • Good understanding of IT technologies (Application Development, Web Technologies, Databases, Integration and Network / Security protocols

  • Salesforce Technical Knowledge

  • Agentic Technologies (Salesforce Agentforce)

HIRING PRACTICES

The salary range for this position is $108,034 - $128,290 annually. Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of job-related factors, including education, experience, knowledge, and skill set.

This is an on-site with occasional work-from-home position that requires employees to work on-site four days per week with the opportunity to work-from-home one day per week (with a dedicated workspace at the assigned company office).
