Are interested in shaping technology decisions and becoming part of a dedicated team? In this role, you will support strategic technology decisions, work closely with stakeholders across the business, and help drive our transformation journey. Come and join us!
We are facing an exciting future with considerable growth and demanding changes, as we deliver advanced technologies and mission critical solutions for the defense and aerospace industry. Our systems provide security for people on land, at sea and in the air. Therefore, we are looking for an Enterprise Architect to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.
Your role in our team
We are looking for an Enterprise Architect to join the IT Strategy and Transformation team. This is a senior role with real strategic weight. You will help shape how technology decisions are made across the organization, ensure the architecture function operates with direction and discipline, and act as a trusted advisor to IT leadership and senior business stakeholders. The IT organization is at the beginning of a largescale enterprise transformation. And to do this, we need an experienced Enterprise Architect.
You will work across an organization in growth where the technology landscape is evolving and the decisions you influence today will have consequences for years. You will get the chance to work together with experienced architects and have a real impact on how we modernize our ways of working, when it comes to architectural decision making.
How you will make a meaningful contribution
You will work closely together with your colleagues in the team. You will have the overall responsibility of driving the Target Architecture through projects and governance boards. Our ambition is to standardize and create a scalable architecture. If you help us do just that, you will have succeeded in your role.
Your key responsibilities include:
-
- Maintain a clear, honest, and decision-relevant view of the current application landscape, integrations, data flows, and technical debt.
- Drive substantial standardization and scalability through clear communication, prioritization and a professional way of working when it comes to architectural decisions
- Co-develop and own the transitional architecture roadmap aligned with the Terma business and strategic targets, based on pragmatism and decision making without full information
- Define and maintain architecture principles, patterns, and standards that guide delivery teams toward consistent, sound decisions
- Translate regulatory requirements in a highly regulated business, including NIS2, ISO 27001, CMMC, into concrete architectural requirements, working alongside security and compliance
- Partner with architects, IT Business Partners, project managers, and business stakeholders to connect business ambitions with technology direction
Bring your world class expertise into play
You are a senior enterprise architect. You know how to build a governance structure around IT Architects, define a target architecture and integrate the target into solutions. You are proactive. You spot issues early, you raise them clearly, and you come with a point of view. You build trust quickly by communicating clearly with a logical, yet pragmatic approach.
Moreover, we are also looking for a new colleague with the following qualifications:
-
- 7+ years of experience working with enterprise-scale technology landscapes, ideally including hands-on delivery before moving into a cross-functional architecture role
- Strong coverage across business, application, data, and technology architecture, with depth in at least two of these domains
- Solid experience with application integration, cloud architecture, and data flows in a highly regulated environment
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or similar, and a proven ability to translate regulatory frameworks into architectural requirements
- Experience assessing and introducing AI and emerging technologies in a structured, governed way, incl. strong stakeholder management and communication skills
As a person, you are a team player and enjoy working in a dynamic environment. Moreover, you have excellent communication skills when working with a variety of different stakeholders. You take clear ownership of your tasks and are solution-oriented with an eye for detail.
Application deadline: 17-08-2026
Applications will be processed continuously.
