Job description

Position: GL Executive (1 Headcount)
Position: AP Executive (2 Headcounts)
Location: PJ with 3 days Working from Home
Salary Range: RM 4,000 - RM 5,500

Key Responsibilities (GL Executive)
  • Handle monthly General Ledger closes and journal postings.
  • Conduct monthly intra- and inter-entity account reconciliations.
  • Prepare audit schedules and required supporting compliance documents.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and run monthly depreciation in accounting system.
  • Issue non-trade invoices and credit notes in Accounts Receivable in accordance with company policies and approval requirements.
  • Send monthly statements of account to customers.
  • Monitor Accounts Receivable aging.
  • Liaise with Sales team / Key Account Managers for collection of customer payments.
Key Responsibilities (AP Executive)
  • Process payments for vendor invoices and expense claims according to approved payment terms.
  • Apply payments to vendor invoices in Accounts Payable.
  • Perform Accounts Payable reconciliations against vendor statements of account and resolve outstanding items.
  • Post vendor invoices, vendor credit notes and expense claims in Accounts Payable.
  • Monitor Accounts Payable aging.
  • Close Accounts Payable monthly according to stipulated deadlines.
  • Post journals for on-behalf payments between stations or entities.
  • Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents.
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superior from time to time.

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum two (2) years of relevant work experience.

  • Position level and role assignment will depend on qualifications, work experience and business requirements.
