This is a remote position.

About the Role:
The role focuses on building and scaling Bhumi’s college club ecosystem to drive a strong culture of volunteerism and civic responsibility among youth while owning one specific outcome within it: turning club volunteers and college relationships into a strong, consistent Fellowship pipeline. Success looks like a predictable, trackable funnel from club engagement to Fellowship hire, with clear visibility at every stage — from the first conversation to the application.

About the Program:
Bhumi is building one of India’s largest volunteer movements. By 2030, we aim to engage 10 lakh volunteers through Bhumi Clubs, a grassroots movement of volunteers and leaders enabling hyperlocal contributions to their own communities. Every Bhumi volunteer is a changemaker and an active citizen working toward a better India.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Support the achievement of Fellowship hiring targets from Bhumi Clubs and partner colleges.
  • Partner with club leaders and college stakeholders to promote Fellowship opportunities.
  • Work with College Club Leads/student leaders to identify and nurture potential Fellowship candidates early — through campaigns, info sessions, and sustained 1:1 conversations.
  • Build and maintain a live candidate pipeline with clear visibility at every stage, from first conversation to application
  • Support Fellowship-related campaigns and visibility efforts within club colleges, coordinating with college campaigns leads to surface and track candidates across touchpoints. Navigate college ecosystems — including faculty coordinators, placement cells, and student bodies — to create consistent Fellowship visibility.
  • Provide regular progress reporting against the Fellow hire target to both Clubs and Fellowship stakeholders.
Educational Qualification/Experience:
  • Educational Degree: Any Graduate With Relevant Experience in volunteer engagement and outreach.
  • Experience working with students, volunteers, or educational institutions will be preferred.
Knowledge & Skill sets required:
  • Ability to identify leadership potential in people who haven't yet seen it in themselves.
  • Comfort with long-horizon relationship-building and moving people from interest to commitment.
  • Strong influencing and listening skills — especially in 1:1 conversations with students and institutional stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).
  • Highly self-driven, with the ability to manage a pipeline and prioritise independently.
