Job description

This is a remote position.

Aveni is redefining how financial institutions use AI.


We build real, production-ready agentic systems that reshape how banks, advisers and financial services firms operate, replacing fragmented processes with intelligent, end-to-end workflows.

Since then, we've continued to grow rapidly as adoption of AI in financial services accelerates, and we're now scaling our team to meet that demand.


We're looking for an experienced Strategic Partnerships Lead to define and execute one of the most important growth strategies within our business.


The Opportunity


This is not a traditional partner sales or channel management role.


At Aveni, partnerships are a strategic growth engine. We're looking for someone who can identify, build and develop a carefully selected group of high-value partnerships that create long-term commercial success.


Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you'll take ownership of our enterprise partnership strategy, developing joint propositions, creating commercial partnership models and working with leading consultancies, technology providers, systems integrators and strategic industry partners to accelerate our growth.


You'll be equally comfortable defining strategy, influencing senior stakeholders and rolling up your sleeves to make things happen.


What You'll Be Doing


  • Define and lead Aveni's enterprise partnership strategy.
  • Identify and secure strategic partnerships that accelerate business growth.
  • Develop joint go-to-market propositions and commercially attractive partnership models.
  • Design revenue-sharing, referral, OEM and white-label opportunities where appropriate.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across partner organisations.
  • Deliver a multi-million-pound revenue target through partnership-led initiatives.
  • Work closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success and Marketing to ensure successful execution.
  • Influence product strategy by bringing market and partner insight into roadmap discussions.
  • Develop partnership governance, KPIs and best-practice operating models.
  • Mentor and develop partnership capability as the function grows.

Requirements

What We're Looking For


You'll have significant experience building and leading partnership strategies within a scaling B2B SaaS or AI business.


You'll also bring:

  • A proven track record of delivering ARR growth through strategic partnerships.
  • Experience creating commercial partnership models and joint go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of partnership ecosystems including consultancies, systems integrators, technology providers and industry advisers.
  • Experience working with senior executives and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
  • A background in fast-moving software businesses where you've combined strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Experience mentoring or leading partnership teams.
  • Experience within Financial Services, compliance, risk or regulated markets would be advantageous, as would experience supporting enterprise AI deployments.
