BASIC SCOPE/PURPOSE 

 

Summary: Staci Americas is a dynamic and rapidly growing 3PL/E-commerce company that offers a wide range of services to our customers globally. Our mission is to remain cutting-edge amongst the industry and continue to elevate our proprietary solutions. We are looking for a highly skilled Application Developer II to join our fast-paced IT team. As an Application Developer II, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining critical applications that support our logistics operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient solutions.

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

  • Design, develop, and maintain Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and supporting applications.
  • Understand and configure WMS functionalities to meet business needs.
  • Provide technical expertise in web application programming, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and business requirements.
  • Develop scalable production-level code using Microsoft technology stack and emerging open-source technologies.
  • Create custom user interface libraries and frameworks for consistent user experience across enterprise applications.
  • Design and develop responsive user interfaces for web and mobile apps across multiple devices.
  • Analyze business problems and propose effective software solutions.
  • Mentor junior programmers and provide technical guidance.
  • Provide estimates, create functional specifications, and develop detailed design specifications.
  • Convert system designs and technical specifications into program code for complex applications.
  • Develop, test, and maintain complex application software, adhering to project standards and processes.
  • Lead design and code review sessions and contribute to continuous process improvement.
  • Debug and troubleshoot existing program code, providing Level-3 support to resolve issues.
  • Monitor software releases to production, ensuring system stability post-deployment.
  • Participate in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of new software or significant enhancements to existing software for third-party customers.
  • Collaborate with technical staff to understand and resolve software issues, developing specifications to address them.

 

 

 

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on WMS/WCS applications.
  • Strong knowledge and proven working experience as a .NET Core developer
  • Hands-on experience in developing .NET Core/ ASP.NET MVC applications
  • Well-versed with Microsoft’s .NET framework and tech stack
  • Proficient in C# and VB.NET programming languages and extensive working knowledge of .NET languages
  • Strong experience with MS SQL Server, including database design, development, and optimization.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and methods
  • Familiar with entire software development lifecycle and development approaches
  • Experience working with WebAPI, Entity Framework, ADO.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, JQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, and VB.NET
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft development best practices, design patterns, and tools
  • Familiar with web application lifecycle and frontend, backend frameworks
  • Knowledge of web services, WCF, and SOA (Service Oriented Architecture)
  • Sound understanding of code versioning tools and CI/CD pipelines
  • Must have experience working with web technologies and frameworks
  • Knowledge of design patterns and principles and .NET patterns
  • Knowledge of testing and automated testing platforms
  • Sound knowledge of CLR (Common Language Runtime) and its limitations

 

Work Environment: 

 

While performing duties of this job, the employee’s work environment may vary from professional office to fulfillment center floor, and other vendor/client locations. However, the primary environment for this role can be a remote based position.
