Job description

This is a remote position.

Superlanet is seeking an Epic Ambulatory Lead – Specialty Applications for our healthcare client in Texas. This is a remote, direct hire opportunity with quarterly travel required. This role is responsible for leading Epic Ambulatory initiatives across complex specialty clinic environments, including oversight and optimization of specialty applications such as Bones, Kaleidoscope, and ophthalmology-focused workflows. This position serves as both a senior technical leader and operational partner to clinical stakeholders, supporting highly customized provider workflows across specialty ambulatory settings.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Epic Ambulatory support, optimization, and strategic initiatives across specialty clinic operations
  • Serve as the primary SME for specialty ambulatory workflows, including:
    • Epic Bones
    • Epic Kaleidoscope
    • Specialty provider workflow optimization
  • Manage and mentor Epic analysts while helping drive operational priorities and project execution
  • Partner directly with physicians, clinic leadership, operational stakeholders, and IT leadership to improve specialty clinic workflows and end-user satisfaction
  • Lead workflow design sessions, build validation, testing, issue resolution, and optimization initiatives
  • Support Epic upgrades, enhancement requests, governance initiatives, and long-term roadmap planning
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Epic teams including MyChart, Cadence, Prelude, Beaker, and integration teams as needed
  • Drive standardization efforts while balancing the unique needs of specialty providers and subspecialty clinics
  • Assist in prioritization, analyst workload management, escalation handling, and strategic planning activities

Required Qualifications

  • Epic Ambulatory Certification
  • 5-8+ years of Epic Ambulatory experience with a strong analyst/build background
  • 1-3 years of Team Lead, Lead Analyst, or Supervisor experience supporting analysts and operational initiatives
  • Deep understanding of specialty clinic workflows and provider-facing support models
  • Experience supporting highly customized ambulatory workflows in complex healthcare environments
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner directly with physicians, clinical leadership, and executive stakeholders
  • Experience leading optimization, workflow redesign, and operational improvement initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Multiple Epic certifications strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in large academic medical centers or complex multi-specialty health systems
  • Knowledge of specialty ambulatory revenue cycle and clinical operations


Benefits

Salary based on experience $120,000 - $135,000
