Lead Epic Cadence Analyst

This is a remote position.

Superlanet is seeking a Lead Epic Cadence Analyst for our healthcare client in Texas. This is a remote, 3-month contract opportunity (with high possibility of extension) with travel required, supporting Epic Cadence and patient scheduling/access workflows across the organization. 

The ideal candidate brings strong Epic Cadence expertise, healthcare IT experience, and proven leadership skills. This role will serve as a senior SME and escalation point while leading initiatives in application optimization, implementation, and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Epic Cadence build, configuration, testing, implementation, optimization, and support.
  
• Serve as the senior SME and primary escalation point for Cadence.
  
• Oversee Incident, Problem, Request, and Change Management activities.
  
• Partner with clinical, operational, technical, and leadership teams.
  
• Lead complex projects, upgrades, enhancements, and workflow optimization initiatives.
  
• Mentor analysts and provide technical guidance to the team.
  
• Coordinate testing, issue resolution, go-live, and stabilization activities.
  
• Maintain application documentation, workflow requirements, and build standards.
  
• Partner with vendors, Epic representatives, and internal stakeholders.
  
• Identify opportunities to improve application performance and workflows.
  

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
  
• 5–7 years of healthcare, business, or information systems experience.
  
• Experience supporting Epic applications in a healthcare environment.
  
• Experience leading application support, implementations, or optimization efforts.
  
• Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, integrations, and application lifecycle management.
  
• Current Epic Cadence Certification required.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
  
• 2+ years of project management or equivalent leadership experience.
  
• Epic upgrade, implementation, and optimization experience.
  
• Knowledge of scheduling, access, registration, and patient workflows.
