Cloud Engineer (Azure)

Superlanet is seeking a Cloud Engineer for our healthcare client in Florida.

This role will design, build, and support secure, scalable Microsoft Azure infrastructure supporting the organization's cloud, data, and AI initiatives. The ideal candidate brings hands-on Azure experience, strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) knowledge, and the ability to work across infrastructure, development, data, and AI teams. This is a Direct Hire OR Contract to Hire primarily Remote position - With occasional travel. 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable Azure cloud infrastructure.
  
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated deployment practices, with Terraform strongly preferred.
  
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
  
• Help build and support Microsoft Fabric, data lake, and Azure data platform environments.
  
• Partner with AI teams to provide infrastructure supporting AI/ML initiatives.
  
• Manage cloud security, including IAM, networking, encryption, logging, and monitoring.
  
• Support CI/CD, configuration management, and DevOps/DevSecOps practices.
  
• Monitor cloud performance, troubleshoot issues, and support disaster recovery.
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant IT experience.
  
• 2+ years with hands-on cloud infrastructure experience.
  
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, architecture, and governance.
  
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC); Terraform strongly preferred.
  
• Experience with PowerShell, Python, Shell, or similar scripting languages.
  
• Knowledge of IAM, networking, security, monitoring, and cloud-native controls.
  
• Experience with cloud migration, modernization, and automation.
  
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure data platforms, data lakes, or AI/ML infrastructure is highly desirable.
  
• Healthcare, HIPAA, or HITRUST experience is a plus.
