Job description

Sales Development Manager
Location: Remote, U.S.-based
Industry: Food & Beverage, CPG, Grocery, Specialty Foods
Compensation: $120,000 to $135,000+ base salary, plus a company performance bonus target of approximately $20,000

We are recruiting a Sales Development Manager on behalf of an established specialty food importer and marketer with a strong portfolio of Mediterranean food brands sold through grocery, club, mass retail, and foodservice accounts.

This role is focused on managing and growing key retail relationships, strengthening broker partnerships, supporting new item presentations, and driving sales performance across an assigned U.S. region. The company is looking for someone who understands how food and CPG brands grow through retail channels, broker networks, promotional programs, pricing strategy, and strong buyer relationships.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of sales management experience, preferably within food, beverage, CPG, grocery, specialty foods, mass retail, club retail, or broker-managed sales organizations. Experience selling into or managing relationships with major retailers such as Walmart, Kroger, Albertsons, Safeway, regional grocery chains, or similar accounts would be highly valuable.

This person should be comfortable managing customer relationships, working closely with brokers, negotiating contracts, supporting promotional calendars, reviewing account opportunities, and helping grow product distribution and SKU presence. Strong communication, organization, leadership, and relationship-building skills are essential.

Experience in the South Central U.S. market, including Arkansas and Texas, would be a strong asset due to the territory focus.
