This is a remote position.

Role: AWS Solution Architect

Employment type: Full Time/Direct Hire (No Agencies)

Location: Washington DC Metro, Charlotte Metro, NYC, Atlanta, GA Metro, or Richmond, VA

Location Type: Hybrid - Home Office/Local office (1-2 days per week onsite)

Requirements

Cloud engineering, or architecture experience with emphasis on migrations, modernization, and enterprise cloud strategy
Consulting experience with the ability to translate technical solutions into business value for diverse stakeholders
Expertise in AWS (required) with AWS MAP, landing zones, security, networking, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible)
Team leadership experience, including mentoring and coaching, leading solution design, and leading delivery of complex cloud projects
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex cloud and AI solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus seamlessly across tasks and projects
Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings or industry events
AWS Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent advanced certification preferred or expected
Demonstrated experience supporting technical pre-sales, solution shaping, and enterprise consulting engagements
Experience with Amazon Bedrock, GenAI architecture patterns, or enterprise AI/ML modernization initiatives
Deep knowledge of cloud security, IAM, governance, resiliency, and compliance frameworks
Strong scripting and automation experience (Python, Bash, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cloud Engineering, or a related field preferred
Experience in AI-driven cloud solutions and applying AI/ML technologies to enhance cloud architectures
Proven expertise in AWS services and partner programs
Experience with AWS data pipeline/ETL tools and integration with Snowflake
Consulting experience in regulated industries such as Financial Services, Healthcare, or Public Sector
