We are seeking a Corporate Accounting Assistant for our Mount Pleasant Support Center who is detail-oriented, enjoys new challenges, and is self-motivated. This position can be part or full time depending on responsibilities. This position will have the potential, after training is completed, to share work hours between the office and working remotely from home.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Aid the Corporate Accountant as needed
  • Scan and input invoices into the system for approval
  • Prepare deposits and post cash receipts into into Accounts Receivable program
  • Help prepare various spreadsheets and verify data for monthly billings
  • Submit Accounts Receivable invoices for payment to various companies
  • Download monthly bank statements, clear checks, electronic payments, deposits
  • Maintain files (both paper and electronic)

You Have:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet multiple deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others
  • Accounting experience
