Job description

Chooose builds software to enable the lower carbon fuel value chain.

Companies like Delta Air Lines, Cathay Pacific, British Airways, and Microsoft use the Chooose platform to build, operate, and scale their lower carbon fuel programs (typically referred to as Sustainable Aviation Fuel, or SAF), and to advance voluntary and compliance carbon management initiatives.

With offices in Miami and Oslo, and remote employees across the US and Europe, Chooose is relentlessly focused on delivering enterprise software products to enable our customers to drive lower carbon fuel adoption. The company has raised $50M from leading venture capital and strategic investors.

The role

As a Senior Engagement Manager based in Singapore, you will be a cornerstone of Chooose’s APAC Customer Operations organization. You will partner closely with enterprise customers in the aviation, energy, and logistics sectors — including major APAC carriers and fuel suppliers — enabling them to build and operate high-integrity SAF programs on the Chooose platform.

Working in close collaboration with the broader Customer organization, you will own day-to-day relationships with our largest APAC customers, guiding them from initial implementation through go-live and long-term program success. You will also serve as a key voice of the APAC region internally, shaping how Chooose adapts its products and processes to serve this market.

What you'll do

Customer Ownership & Relationship Management

  • Own a portfolio of key enterprise customers in the APAC region, with a focus on the aviation, energy, and logistics sectors — including carriers operating across Japan and Southeast Asia.

  • Build high-trust, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders across customer organizations — from Sustainability and ESG teams to Fuel Procurement and Finance.

  • Serve as the customer’s primary point of contact and trusted advisor on all things SAF: program design, regulatory context, platform capability, and market trends.

  • Program Delivery & Operations

  • Oversee the end-to-end implementation of complex SAF and decarbonization programs, supported by the Technical Implementation team and cross-functional Chooose resources.

  • Track and manage operational metrics, including implementation timelines, SLA adherence, and program KPIs. Proactively flag and resolve delivery risks.

  • Ensure program quality across the full customer lifecycle — from onboarding and configuration to reporting, reconciliation, and renewal.

  • Regional & Regulatory Expertise

  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of the APAC regulatory landscape as it pertains to SAF and carbon management — including CORSIA compliance, SAF mandates, Singapore’s aviation decarbonization strategy, and emerging requirements across the region.

  • Act as an internal subject-matter resource on APAC market dynamics, translating regional nuance into actionable guidance for the Customer, Product, and Lower Carbon Products teams.

  • Represent Chooose in regional working groups and industry organizations where SAF and decarbonization are the primary focus.
  • Commercial Growth & Feedback

  • Assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis. Proactively identify expansion opportunities and champion them internally with structured product feedback.

  • Maintain a balanced perspective: support commercial growth while upholding Chooose’s commitment to long-term, high-integrity climate action.

  • Expand upon commercial growth: Actively work with Business Development to pursue new commercial opportunities in the region, including airlines, producers, freight forwarders, etc.
  • Process Improvement

  • Refine and contribute to the global Customer Operations playbook — improving how Chooose delivers implementation, manages ongoing operations, and scales customer success.

  • Collaborate across Product & Engineering, Technical Implementation, Finance, Legal, Business Development, and Lower Carbon Products to deliver program objectives on time and with high quality.

  • What you'll bring to the table
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, ideally in the hard sciences.

  • Minimum 6 years of demonstrated success in management consulting, SaaS implementation, enterprise customer success, or enterprise project management.

  • Experience in enterprise software, carbon markets, fuel markets, or carbon accounting is a strong plus.

  • You’re comfortable navigating highly configurable SaaS platforms and discussing API integrations and data workflows with technical stakeholders.

  • You listen carefully and authentically care about solving customer problems — you don’t wait for others to act.

  • You’re equally comfortable presenting to a C-suite sustainability officer and debugging a data issue with an implementation engineer.

  • You’re willing to travel within APAC (and occasionally to the US or Europe) on short notice.

  • You’re comfortable working across APAC time zones, with occasional overlap with US Eastern and European hours for internal collaboration.

  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, along with professional fluency in Japanese.

  • Must be based in Singapore.
