Job description

Job brief

We are partnering with a world-leading provider of machine vision inspection systems to hire a Technical Support Engineer who will deliver professional on-site technical services for AOI/SPI and automated inspection equipment.
Candidates with solid experience in automation equipment technical support / equipment commissioning & maintenance are highly welcome to apply—we value your automation background and will provide professional training on vision inspection systems to help you succeed.

Responsibilities

Lead on-site installation, calibration, commissioning, and fine-tuning of AOI/SPI optical inspection equipment and related automated production line equipment.
Diagnose and resolve complex issues across hardware, motion control systems, software operation, and optical imaging modules.
Optimize inspection recipes and algorithms together with customers, improve detection stability, and reduce false calls and overkill rates.
Conduct professional technical training for customer operators, engineers, and on-site management teams.
Serve as the key link between customers and the R&D team; collect on-site feedback, product requirements, and technical issues to drive continuous product improvement.
Manage on-site spare parts, formulate preventive maintenance plans, and ensure stable and efficient equipment operation.
Summarize typical after-sales cases, organize technical documents, and build a shared knowledge base to improve the overall team capability.

Requirements

2+ years of practical experience in automation equipment / electronic manufacturing equipment / AOI / AVI / SPI equipment debugging, maintenance, or technical support.
Solid technical foundation in vision system calibration, motion control systems, or PLC logic; familiarity with automation machinery and electrical control is essential.
Academic background in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related technical fields (College or Bachelor's degree).
Strong on-site problem-solving ability, good communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with factory engineering and management teams.
Professional working proficiency in English，proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
Open to on-site support, long-term client assignments, and frequent business travel as needed.
