This is a remote position - Intermodal Support Specialist - Day Shift
As an Intermodal Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring operating efficiency at the load level for all intermodal freight within your book. You will be a key liaison between carriers, internal branch staff and Intermodal Acct Managers. Professionalism, positive attitude, and exceptional communication is key.
Requirements
A Day in the life of an Intermodal Support Specialist includes the following:
·Full tracking support of drayage and containers en route on rail
·Retrieve and file relevant load paperwork – BOL/POD/Customs documents, etc.
·Assist with creation and maintenance of load tracking reports provided to internal staff.
·Communicate any load delay and/or service disruption immediately to Intermodal Acct Manager.
·Proactively identify potential operational disruptions before they occur.
·Assist Intermodal Account Manager with load tender creation and rail billing when requested.
·Provide written Spanish -English translations to Intermodal Account Manager when requested.
