Requirements:

  • System Administration and Maintenance: Manage Workday Financials configurations (GL, AP) and monitor system integrations; troubleshoot errors and coordinate issue resolution with internal technical teams and external vendors; support tenant refresh activities, security reviews, and background process monitoring to ensure stability and compliance
  • Release Optimization Management: Support the Workday release lifecycle including configuration, testing, deployment, and documentation; maintain an optimization calendar and implement functional updates supporting Finance workflows and system improvements; ensure adherence to change management and documentation standards
  • Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs using Workday reporting tools; monitor report performance and troubleshoot issues affecting accuracy or usability; support audit requests and maintain data integrity for financial reporting and operational metrics
  • Incident Response and End-User Support: Respond to system incidents, troubleshoot functional issues, and escalate or submit support cases; provide user guidance, documentation, and training to Finance and operational teams; collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation

Workday Financial Analyst - Remote

 

Job Summary

 

The Workday Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing the organization's Workday Financial Management platform. This role ensures data integrity, system performance, and compliance while enabling financial reporting, integrations, and process improvements. The analyst collaborates with Finance, IT, and operational stakeholders to deliver accurate financial insights and improve platform efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

System Administration & Maintenance

 

• Manage Workday Financials configurations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and related modules.

• Monitor system integrations, troubleshoot errors, and coordinate issue resolution with internal technical teams and external vendors.

• Support tenant refresh activities, security reviews, and background process monitoring to ensure system stability and compliance.

 

Release & Optimization Management

 

• Support the Workday release lifecycle including configuration, testing, deployment, and documentation.

• Maintain an optimization calendar and implement functional updates supporting Finance workflows and system improvements.

• Ensure adherence to established change management and documentation standards.

 

Reporting & Analytics
