Job description


We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Accountant to manage our bookkeeping, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and oversee financial documentation. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of VAT and other Philippine taxes and a keen eye for accuracy. Experience with corporate accounting is a significant advantage. The candidate must be a CPA passer. This part-time role is ideal for someone seeking flexibility while contributing to our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments.

Sign and verify financial documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.

Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and other relevant authorities.

Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Manage invoices, payments, and collections, ensuring timely processing and follow-up.

Ensure adherence to local and national financial regulations and company policies.

Assist with corporate financial matters, including the preparation of corporate tax returns and financial statements.

Assist in the preparation and coordination of the annual audit process.

Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings.


Qualifications:


Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of [2] years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.

Certification: Must be a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) passer.

Knowledge: In-depth understanding of VAT and tax regulations in the Philippines

Corporate Experience: Knowledge of corporate accounting practices and experience in a corporate setting is a plus.

Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Google/Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy in financial data management.
