Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound sales from initial contact to closing and order processing; consistently exceed sales targets
  • Develop deep product knowledge (air conditioners, heat pumps, solar solutions) and explain features, benefits, and pricing; research and generate leads; monitor inquiries on social media and LinkedIn
  • Provide timely technical support via phone, email, and other channels for our product lines; diagnose and troubleshoot issues; escalate complex problems as needed; create documentation and conduct product demos/training
  • Follow established sales processes, manage leads in CRM, identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and ensure timely reporting and SLA adherence

Job Requirements:

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Core responsibilities:

Inbound Sales Excellence:

  • Handle a very manageable volume of inbound sales calls from potential customers.
  • Masterfully manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact and needs assessment to closing the sale and processing orders.
  • Consistently exceed sales targets and contribute to the team's overall success. 
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our product line, including features, benefits, and pricing, with a particular focus on air conditioners, heat pumps, and solar solutions. 
  • Understand and be able to explain different government grants and rebates that may be relevant to the customer.
  • Ability to research and create your own leads and get sales.
  • Monitoring of online accounts for enquiries social media and linkedin.

Technical Support & Customer Service:

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to customers via phone, email, and other communication channels for ODIS. 
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to our product lines, offering practical solutions and guidance. 
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior technical staff as needed. 
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our product specifications, features, and functionalities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Provide pre-sales technical advice and support to customers, helping them choose the right products for their needs. 
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers.

Exceptional Communication and Rapport Building:

  • Exhibit flawless English communication skills (both written and verbal) with a clear, articulate, and engaging phone presence. 
  • Build instant rapport with customers, creating a positive and trusting relationship from the first interaction. 
  • Employ active listening skills to understand customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly. 
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of our products, highlighting energy efficiency, cost savings, and environmental benefits.

Product Knowledge and Industry Expertise:

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the electronics industry, particularly in the areas of air conditioning, heat pumps, refrigerators, freezers, cold rooms and solar technology. 
  • Demonstrate knowledge of power-saving electronics and their role in reducing carbon emissions, appealing to environmentally conscious customers. 
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.

Sales Process Mastery:

  • Utilize our systems to manage leads, track customer interactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Follow established sales processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency. 
  • Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell related products and services.

Compliance, Complaint Management & Reporting:

  • Ensure all complaints are recorded, refer to technical calls/customer visits and maintain contact until outcome is reached. 
  • All such cases should be closed within in a timely manner within stipulated SLAs Complete a mandatory police check as part of the pre-employment screening process. 
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to data security and customer privacy.
