Job Requirements:

• Proven Grant Writing Experience: Up to 2 years in a similar role, with demonstrated success in securing grants for organizations in the fashion, sustainability, or non-profit sectors. 
• Exceptional Writing and Research Skills: Proficiency in crafting clear, persuasive grant proposals and conducting in-depth research on funding opportunities. 
• Organizational Expertise: Strong ability to manage multiple grant applications simultaneously, maintain a detailed repository of documents, and meet strict deadlines. 
• Strategic Thinking: Capability to align grant applications with the organizations goals, identifying the best-fit funding opportunities for maximum impact. 
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the sustainable fashion industry, its challenges, and opportunities, as well as an understanding of grant trends and expectations within this sector. 
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with grant management software, document creation tools, and online application platforms to streamline the grant writing process.

Core responsibilities:

• Research and Identify Grant Opportunities: Actively scour the internet and other resources to identify and evaluate grant opportunities aligned with the organization's mission of sustainable and innovative fashion. 
• Prepare and Submit Grant Proposals: Write compelling and tailored grant applications, ensuring alignment with donor requirements and maximizing the likelihood of funding approval. 
• Develop and Maintain Grant Materials: Create and organize a centralized repository of grant documents, including blueprints, financial statements, project summaries, and necessary supporting materials for submission. 
• Generate Funding Leads: Proactively reach out to organizations, government bodies, and private foundations to explore potential funding opportunities and partnerships.
• Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with leadership and other departments to gather necessary data, refine project goals, and ensure alignment of grant proposals with the companys initiatives.
• Track Grant Progress and Deadlines: Maintain detailed records of all grant submissions, follow-ups, and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to requirements.
