Role Overview

We are seeking a self-motivated Senior Oracle Analytics & Integration Consultant with strong expertise in Python-based data integration, Oracle Analytics, and EPM Planning (Essbase). This role involves close collaboration with client teams and architects, contributing to solution design, development, and delivery of analytics and finance data platforms.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across Oracle OAC, OAS, OBIEE, OBIA, ODI, and strong capability in building scalable integration and transformation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Data Hub Development

• Contribute to the enhancement of the Finance Data Hub, a data integration, transformation, and analytics platform built primarily using Python.
  

• Design, build, enhance, and maintain Python-based integration and transformation components.
  

• Create technical designs and specifications and present/defend them in architecture reviews.
  

• Maintain and enhance existing Python codebases with modular, scalable design.
  

EPM Planning & Essbase

• Work extensively with EPM Planning, primarily Essbase Standalone Cubes.
  

• Perform data loads, data retrievals, processing updates, and API-based integrations.
  

Database & Integration Work

• Use SQL to design and build complex transformations, procedures, and data pipelines.
  

• Design and extend data models and data warehouses.
  

• Work with REST APIs and integration adapters to support enterprise integrations.
  

Delivery & Collaboration

• Follow Agile SDLC practices for development and delivery.
  

• Maintain code using GIT and standard configuration management practices.
  

• Support solutioning and project estimation activities.
  

• Design and set up technical architecture, including cloud-based components.
  

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Python, especially for:
  

  • Data integrations
    

  • Data transformations
    

  • Large, modular codebases
    

• Strong experience with EPM Planning and Essbase (data loads, APIs, cube processing).
  

• Experience with Oracle Analytics platforms:
  

  • OAC, OAS, OBIEE, OBIA, ODI (on-prem and cloud).
    

• Advanced SQL skills, including complex transformations and procedures.
  

• Strong understanding of REST APIs and integration patterns.
  

• Experience with OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) and its core components.
  

• Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
  

• Proficiency with GIT and code/configuration management.
  

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills – role involves regular client interaction and architectural discussions.
  

• Ability to explain technical designs and options clearly to client architects and stakeholders.
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  

• Ability to work independently as well as in team-oriented environments.
  

Nice to Have

• Experience in finance analytics or enterprise data platforms.
  

• Prior experience working directly with UK or global clients.
