Senior Business Analyst - CPG & Retail Analytics

Location:Pan India

Job Description:

As a Senior Business Analyst in our Business Analytics Team, you will be at the forefront of driving analytical excellence in the CPG & Retail domain. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage with clients at the highest levels, and lead the way in solving complex business problems through the application of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence. Your role will encompass thought leadership, solution design, client engagement, and end-to-end project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Structure high-value business problems and design innovative solutions by integrating machine intelligence with deep domain expertise.
  
• Provide thought leadership to clients at the executive level, guiding them in refining their business strategies through the adoption of analytical solutions.
  
• Develop Proof of Concepts (PoCs) in collaboration with client stakeholders, aligning analytics solutions with their business pain points and requirements, and leveraging relevant tools and frameworks.
  
• Manage client expectations throughout engagements to cultivate and strengthen client relationships.
  
• Innovate and create new data assets while driving their adoption in the market.
  
• Take ownership of end-to-end delivery for both large and complex Analytics & AI-led transformation programs and small, agile business insights initiatives to deliver quick wins.
  

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the analytics industry with a strong focus on the CPG & Retail sector, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry challenges and data complexities.
  
• Strong analytical thinking and a proven track record of hands-on experience in solving complex analytics problems.
  
• Expert knowledge of advanced statistical techniques such as Decision Trees, regression, correlation, etc.
  
• Effective communicator with an executive presence, capable of articulating complex programs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  
• Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to demonstrate software products effectively.
  
• Demonstrated experience in handling clients and independently delivering projects in the Retail and CPG sectors.
  
• Experience with cloud-based development and deployment of solutions on platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
  
• Proven ability to recruit and nurture talent, transforming them into market-facing specialists and consultants.
  
• Experience in building and fostering a community of practice focused on analytics or AI.
