Job description

This is a remote position.

Due to business expansion, for our client in the hospitality industry, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional for the position of Sales Development Representative, with strong experience in international group sales and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively acquire and develop international group business, with a potential focus on Asian markets (China, South Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia)
  • Build, maintain, and expand relationships with DMCs, tour operators, and travel agencies
  • Prepare, present, and negotiate group offers, rates, contracts, and allotments
  • Maintain regular contact with existing partners and reactivate dormant or previous clients
  • Represent the company at B2B trade fairs, workshops, and online sales events
  • Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities and trends
  • Coordinate closely with internal departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B) to ensure smooth execution of group bookings
  • Prepare weekly sales updates, forecasts, and performance reports for management

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in hotel sales, group travel, tour operating, or DMCs is a strong advantage
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Structured, proactive, and target-oriented working style
  • Strong service mindset and genuine interest in international markets
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Good command of MS Office; experience with Siteminder or Apaleo is an advantage
