About the Role

This isn't your typical HR generalist role with a fancy title. At Everglade Works, were scaling fast, and we need someone who's ready to step into the drivers seat of day-to-day HR operations. This is a hands-on position for someone who wants to understand the rea workings of people management in a growing IT company.

You'll work side-by-side (virtually) with leadership to help build and maintain a workplace that runs smoothly, keeps people engaged, and ensures the human side of the business is just as sharp as the tech.

What You'll Be Doing

- Manage onboarding from A to Z paperwork, tools, welcome calls, the works

- Coordinate with team leads to support new hires during their first weeks

- Track employee datacontract dates, birthdays, leave balances, updates

- Be the first point of contact for HR-related questions from our remote team

- Help draft internal communicationspolicies, process guides, updates

- Keep our digital HR files organized and audit-ready

- Support offboarding: making sure exits are smooth, respectful, and well-documented

- Assist with hiring tasks (scheduling interviews, collecting feedback, etc.)

- Spot gaps in our HR processes and work with us to make them better

You'll Thrive in This Role If You
