For senior professionals with 10 or more years of experience, Panama offers a distinctive combination in the Latin American context: a fully dollarized economy that eliminates currency risk, a US time zone alignment (UTC-5) that provides natural overlap with North American business hours, a large concentration of multinational regional headquarters, and a well-developed financial services and logistics professional ecosystem. The country is smaller than it appears in professional market terms, but the concentration of regional headquarters functions in Panama City creates senior professional demand that exceeds what a purely domestic market of five million people would generate.
Panama City is the overwhelming center of Panama's professional market. Three issues arise consistently.
