Job description

Position:

Marketing Project Manager - Global ECS

Job Description:

Why You'll Love This Role:

Technology has the power to change lives, but great stories help people understand its impact. At Arrow, our Marketing & Communications teams create meaningful connections through strategic campaigns, compelling content, digital experiences, and brand storytelling that bring innovation to life.

In this role, you'll collaborate with teams across the globe, transform ideas into engaging experiences, and help communicate the solutions that enable customers and suppliers to stay ahead in an ever-changing technology landscape.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Resource & Workflow Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison between go-to-market teams and production teams, providing clear ownership of project intake, scheduling and handover.
  • Act as the gatekeeper for project bookings, ensuring briefs, deliverables, timelines, approvals, budgets and supporting information are complete, accurate and production-ready before work is scheduled.
  • Maintain and optimize the master schedule for all live and upcoming projects, balancing priorities, dependencies, deadlines and available capacity.
  • Partner with department leaders to forecast resource demand, identify capacity risks and resolve resourcing conflicts.
  • Maximize effective utilization of people and production resources while minimizing idle capacity, duplication, rework and waste.

2. Financial & Project Reconciliation

  • Validate project estimates and financials against approved rate-card pricing, ensuring costs are accurate, transparent and aligned to campaign scope.
  • Monitor project budgets, forecasts and actuals to support consistent monthly revenue recognition, profitability reporting and financial reconciliation.
  • Identify financial variances, scope changes and margin risks early, escalating issues and coordinating corrective action with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Work with internal teams and suppliers to develop cost-effective delivery solutions, project estimates, schedules and timelines.

3. Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Prepare weekly capacity, utilization and resourcing requirements for operational meetings and team stand-ups.
  • Produce monthly reporting on project performance, resource utilization, workflow demand, revenue drawdown and financial position.
  • Analyze project conversion, throughput and delivery performance to identify inefficient resource allocation, underutilization or delivery risk.
  • Provide clear insights and recommendations that support workload prioritization, capacity planning and operational decision-making.

4. Process Optimization

  • Identify bottlenecks, control gaps and inefficiencies across campaign and production workflows, recommending practical improvements for development and implementation.
  • Develop, document and maintain best practices, operating procedures and governance standards for campaign traffic and project management.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and problem solving, applying established solutions while bringing a new perspective to complex operational challenges.
  • Oversee project quality control through effective briefing, review, proofing, approval and handover processes.

5. Global Team Collaboration & Innovation

  • Champion the team ethics, principles and values that define expected standards of behavior across the global Center of Excellence.
  • Work collaboratively across regions, functions, internal service groups and suppliers while consistently representing the team’s collective identity and values.
  • Provide informal guidance and practical support to colleagues with less experience, sharing project management knowledge and best practices.
  • Identify and test innovative campaign formats, delivery approaches or tactics, converting successful pilots into repeatable best practices.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends, customer behavior, channel performance and competitor activity to inform campaign planning and delivery decisions.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Lead the execution and governance of marketing projects across online and offline channels, ensuring agreed objectives and campaign strategies are implemented.
  • Coordinate internal service groups, production teams and external suppliers to deliver projects to agreed scope, quality, timing and budget.
  • Create and manage project estimates, schedules, resource plans and delivery milestones, securing manager approval where required.
  • Develop and recommend cost-effective delivery solutions and work with suppliers to confirm pricing, deliverables and timelines.
  • Ensure deadlines, budgets, quality standards and review requirements are met, with risks and dependencies actively managed.
  • Coordinate lead generation, reporting and database-related project requirements where applicable, ensuring results are communicated to managers, project owners and suppliers.
  • Build effective stakeholder and supplier relationships and provide clear, professional project updates and recommendations.

Job Complexity

  • Requires in-depth marketing project management knowledge and experience across multi-channel campaign delivery.
  • Solves complex workflow, resource and financial problems by applying sound judgement and adapting established solutions.
  • Works independently with minimal guidance and takes ownership of priorities, risks and operational outcomes.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience and provides informal guidance to junior staff.
  • Contributes to process improvements, operating standards and scalable global ways of working.
  • Balances multiple concurrent projects, stakeholders, commercial requirements and deadlines in a global environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Typically requires 5–7 years of related experience with a four-year degree; or 3 years of related experience and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous project management experience within a marketing agency, internal shared service, Center of Excellence or demand center environment.
  • Demonstrable experience managing campaign intake, project schedules, resource capacity, budgets, suppliers and delivery risks.
  • Strong understanding of marketing channel effectiveness and channel mix across online and offline tactics.
  • Experience working with project or work management platforms and producing operational, capacity and financial reporting.
  • Strong project management, stakeholder management, analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across global, cross-functional and matrixed teams with minimal supervision.
