Job description

Role - EPIC Bridges Developer
Location - Minnesota(Remote)
Payrate- $50/hr on W2


Note - To be supported by EPIC certified vendor only.
Primary Skill: Epic Bridges Secondary Skills: HL7, FHIR, Cloverleaf/Mirth/Rhapsody, Interface Engine Administration, SQL, Healthcare Integrations, Epic Interoperability. Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, configure, and maintain Epic Bridges interfaces.
• Implement and support HL7, FHIR, X12, XML, and web service integrations.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to gather integration requirements.
• Work with interface engines such as Cloverleaf, Mirth Connect, Rhapsody, or similar platforms.
• Perform interface mapping, transformation, message routing, and troubleshooting activities.
• Support Epic implementations, upgrades, optimization initiatives, and system integrations.
• Conduct root cause analysis and resolve interface-related production issues.
• Create integration specifications, technical documentation, and operational runbooks.
• Participate in testing activities including Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and production validation.
• Coordinate with external vendors, application teams, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless data exchange. Required Skills • Certified in Epic Bridges. • Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards: o HL7 v2.x o FHIR o X12 o XML/JSON o Web Services (SOAP/REST)
• Experience with interface engines such as Cloverleaf, Mirth, Rhapsody, or Infor.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare workflows and EHR integrations.
• Experience in interface monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Understanding of database concepts, SQL, and data validation techniques. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Epic implementation and optimization projects.
• Exposure to cloud-based integration architectures.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Experience working in large healthcare provider environments. Soft Skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across multiple teams.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong documentation skills. Responsibilities by Level (E2.2)
• Lead interface design and integration discussions.
• Mentor junior integration analysts and consultants.
• Drive issue resolution and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure adherence to integration standards, best practices, and project timelines.
• Support go-live planning, cutover activities, and post-production stabilization.
