Job Description Summary

The Executive Site Leader sets the vision, strategy, and operational direction for the Electric Avenue (EA) manufacturing site. As the senior leader of the facility, this role holds end-to-end accountability for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, and Innovation, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities, customer commitments, regulatory requirements, and business objectives. The leader serves as the primary steward of the site's performance, culture, competitiveness, and long-term sustainability.

Working across Planning, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, and Global Operations, the Executive Site Leader translates business strategy into clear priorities and measurable results. This transformational leader combines strategic vision with operational discipline to build organizational capability, inspire teams, accelerate change, and deliver sustainable performance for customers, employees, and GE HealthCare.

Essential Responsibilities


  • Lead all aspects of site operations, delivering world-class performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, and Innovation.
  • Develop and execute the site's strategic vision, operating plans, and business objectives, balancing customer, employee, operational, and financial priorities.
  • Drive Heartbeat transformation, operational excellence, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build a high-performing, inclusive organization through strong talent development, engagement, and succession planning.
  • Ensure short- and long-term capacity, product quality, delivery, customer satisfaction, and financial targets are achieved while meeting customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Champion a culture of quality and compliance by ensuring adherence to the GE HealthCare Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, applicable regulatory requirements, production controls, and training expectations, with timely escalation and corrective action to protect product conformity and customer outcomes.
  • Ensure the organization has the technical, functional, and manufacturing process capabilities required to deliver product quality, customer satisfaction, and sustained compliance with established production standards and work instructions.
  • Partner with manufacturing operations and functional teams globally to align site priorities with enterprise objectives, customer commitments, and growth strategies.
  • Establish robust governance, operating mechanisms, and performance management systems to ensure execution discipline.
  • Serve as the primary operations owner for the product portfolio across direct and indirect functions, representing the site internally and externally, influencing stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership, and advancing GE HealthCare's culture, values, and business goals.
  • Own the site operating plan, financial performance, productivity agenda, and capital investment strategy, ensuring resources are deployed against the highest-value business and customer priorities.
  • Establish and sustain a culture of environmental, health, safety, and security excellence, with clear accountability for risk identification, regulatory compliance, and incident prevention.
  • Ensure site resilience through robust business continuity, crisis management, supply continuity, and operational risk mitigation strategies.
  • Represent the site with customers, regulatory bodies, government and community stakeholders, and enterprise leaders, protecting GE HealthCare's reputation and advancing strategic priorities.
  • Shape the site's long-term manufacturing and technology strategy, including footprint, automation, capability, and capital decisions that strengthen competitiveness and support growth.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline required.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or industrial environments.
  • Proven experience leading complex manufacturing organizations and delivering significant operational performance improvements.
  • Demonstrated success implementing Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience leading organizational transformation, automation, and digital manufacturing initiatives.
  • Proven financial and business acumen, including ownership of operating plans, productivity initiatives, and capital investment decisions.
  • Experience operating within a regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
