Location

Note

Candidates must have 2+ years of practicing attorney experience, including 1+ years in creditors' rights, commercial loan workouts, restructuring, or bankruptcy. An active bar license in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, DC, or Pennsylvania and a JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials are required. Excellent writing, communication, and client service skills are essential.

Job Description

  • Handle Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, including relief from stay motions and claims disputes.
  • Draft and negotiate forbearance agreements, loan modifications, settlement agreements, and restructuring documents.
  • Represent clients in creditors' rights litigation in state and federal courts.
  • Collaborate with experienced attorneys to develop creative, cost-effective solutions for complex financial disputes.
  • Work directly with clients to protect their interests and achieve successful outcomes.

Qualifications

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
  • Active bar admission in MD, VA, DE, DC, or PA.
  • 2+ years of practicing attorney experience.
  • 1+ years of creditors' rights, commercial workouts, restructuring, or bankruptcy experience.
  • Strong legal research, drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, advocacy, and client relationship skills.
  • Law firm experience preferred; qualified in-house and solo practitioners welcome.
