Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year

Location:

Kansas City, Missouri. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity.

Regular office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Job Description

  • Develop case strategies and take ownership of executing them from evaluation through resolution.
  • Manage personal injury matters across the pre-litigation and/or litigation process.
  • Communicate directly with clients with empathy, transparency, and professionalism.
  • Negotiate with insurance companies and advocate for strong client outcomes.
  • Review medical records, reports, damages, and other case evidence.
  • Work closely with and supervise paralegals and legal assistants to keep cases progressing efficiently.
  • Oversee settlement and lien-reduction processes.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, medical providers, courts, and other legal professionals.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen cases, improve processes, and deliver outstanding client service.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of personal injury experience.
  • Active Missouri and/or Kansas Bar license; admission in both states is preferred.
  • Experience working directly with clients and insurance companies.
  • Pre-litigation and/or litigation claims experience.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, communication, and case-management skills.
  • Proactive, accountable, collaborative, and comfortable taking ownership.
  • Strong commitment to quality work, continued learning, and exceptional client service.
