Network Integration Engineer (M&A Technology Integration)
Location: Remote (MUST be US-based, ideally <60 miles from a major Int'l Airport)
Travel: Up to 65% across the U.S., Canada, Ireland, and UK
Summary
As an Integration Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering technology integration and modernization initiatives across a growing global organization. You will lead infrastructure assessments, migration planning, and execution activities that support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, office consolidations, and enterprise transformation programs.
This position is ideal for a highly versatile technology professional who combines deep networking and systems expertise with strong project leadership, customer engagement, and problem-solving skills. You will work directly with acquired businesses and internal stakeholders to evaluate existing environments, identify risks, and successfully transition users, applications, data, and infrastructure to enterprise-standard platforms.
Lead Technology Integration Projects
- Assess infrastructure, applications, security posture, and operational readiness of acquired organizations.
- Perform technical due diligence and identify modernization opportunities, technical debt, risks, and compliance gaps.
- Develop and execute integration and migration strategies aligned with enterprise standards.
- Lead office consolidations, tenant migrations, infrastructure transitions, and cloud adoption initiatives.
- Partner with business leaders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Network Engineering & Connectivity
- Design, implement, and support enterprise networking solutions including LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, and cloud connectivity.
- Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and related technologies.
- Maintain secure network architectures and support ongoing infrastructure lifecycle management.
- Create and maintain network diagrams, technical documentation, and system inventories.
- Support infrastructure security initiatives and remediation activities.
Systems & Cloud Infrastructure
- Deploy, administer, and optimize Windows Server environments and supporting infrastructure services.
- Support Active Directory, Group Policy, identity management, virtualization platforms, and enterprise applications.
- Plan and execute server, application, and endpoint migrations.
- Drive cloud transformation initiatives leveraging Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Develop solutions that improve reliability, scalability, performance, and security across the technology environment.
- Maintain disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies.
End User & Business Enablement
- Conduct site assessments and provide technology readiness evaluations.
- Lead user onboarding, migration activities, and technology adoption efforts.
- Collaborate with end users and business stakeholders to minimize operational disruption during transitions.
- Deliver technical guidance and knowledge transfer to internal teams and business partners.
Technical Expertise
- 8+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, and network security.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft technologies including:
- Windows Server
- Active Directory
- Group Policy
- Microsoft 365
- Exchange Online
- Azure
- SharePoint
- Teams
- OneDrive
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, or similar tools.
- Experience with cloud migration, tenant consolidation, infrastructure modernization, or M&A integration initiatives is highly desirable.
