Job description

About the client:

Our client is a US-based Personal Injury law firm dedicated to helping individuals navigate accident and injury claims. The firm manages cases from initial intake through litigation and settlement and is focused on building efficient, technology-driven systems to support its legal operations.

About the role:

Our client is seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to build, customize, and maintain Salesforce-based software and workflows specifically for the firm’s legal operations. This role will work closely with the law firm’s team to understand existing processes, develop custom solutions, automate repetitive workflows, and improve how case, client, intake, and settlement information is managed.

US Law firm experience is mandatory.

Experience in Salesforce development within legal or personal injury environments is strongly preferred.

What you’ll be doing:

Salesforce Development & Customization

  • Design, develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications based on the firm's operational needs.

  • Build custom objects, fields, page layouts, flows, validation rules, and automation.

  • Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL as required.

  • Configure Salesforce to support complex legal and case-management workflows.

  • Customize Salesforce interfaces and dashboards for different teams and users.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Salesforce functionality.

Legal & Case Management Workflows

  • Translate legal processes into efficient Salesforce workflows and automated systems.

  • Build workflows for client intake, case management, medical records, liens, demands, settlements, and case status tracking.

  • Create systems that help teams manage case milestones, deadlines, tasks, communications, and documentation.

  • Support workflows across the full personal injury case lifecycle, from intake through settlement.

  • Identify opportunities to replace manual processes with Salesforce automation.

  • Work with legal and operations teams to understand requirements and continuously improve workflows.

Integrations & Automation

  • Integrate Salesforce with third-party applications and tools the law firm uses.

  • Build and maintain API-based integrations where required.

  • Automate data entry, notifications, task assignments, follow-ups, and case updates.

  • Ensure data flows accurately between Salesforce and connected systems.

  • Use tools such as REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and middleware platforms as needed.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across Salesforce.

  • Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics to help the firm monitor case and operational performance.

  • Manage data imports, exports, migrations, and cleanup.

  • Implement appropriate user permissions, roles, profiles, and access controls.

  • Monitor system performance and resolve data or workflow issues.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.

  • Document Salesforce configurations, workflows, integrations, and development processes.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting to internal users.

  • Recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.

  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, development best practices, and relevant automation technologies.

Who are we looking for?

  • 3+ years of Salesforce development experience.

  • Strong experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, Salesforce Flows, and Salesforce APIs.

  • Experience building custom Salesforce applications and automations.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, security, and integrations.

  • Experience translating business processes into Salesforce workflows and automation.

  • Experience working with legal case management or personal injury law firms is strongly preferred.

  • Experience with legal intake, case management, settlement, lien, medical records, or client management workflows is highly valued.

  • Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party applications and APIs.

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple development priorities independently.
