What You Can Expect

As a Content Marketing Specialist, you will own the creation, coordination, and optimization of content programs that connect Zoom's brand with the audiences that matter most, with SEO and AEO at the core of everything you build. In this role, you will develop content that ranks in traditional search and surfaces in AI-generated answers, applying on-page SEO best practices, structured content frameworks, and AI-driven workflows to work smarter and faster without sacrificing quality. You will own the end-to-end blog publishing process and build repeatable repurposing frameworks that extend the reach and lifespan of every content asset across channels and formats. Working closely with product marketing, content, and demand generation teams, you will ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and reaching the right audiences through the right channels.

About the Team

We are a high-impact, cross-functional content team focused on connecting brand engagement to business growth across the full Zoom portfolio. We bring together partnerships, Tier 1 events, social media, and advertising into one cohesive strategy designed to drive awareness, adoption, and pipeline. Our work spans the full funnel, and we stay relentlessly focused on outcomes and measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute SEO and AEO content strategies, applying on-page best practices including meta optimization, internal linking, header structure, schema markup guidance, and content freshness to drive organic and AI engine visibility.
• Own the end-to-end blog publishing process, from drafting and editing through CMS upload, formatting, and scheduling, ensuring all content is optimized for search and AI discovery from the start.
• Transform long-form content, including blogs, webinars, and reports, into derivative formats such as short-form video clips, social snippets, email copy, infographics, and audiograms for multi-channel distribution.
• Build repeatable content repurposing frameworks that maximize the reach and lifespan of every asset across channels, partnering with video and creative teams to extract high-value moments from recorded sessions.
• Integrate AI tools into daily content workflows for drafting, editing, repurposing, competitive analysis, and performance forecasting, continuously evaluating new AI automations to improve content quality and speed.
• Partner with product marketing managers, content, web, and demand generation teams to keep content programs on track, delivered on time, and aligned with campaign timelines and organizational goals.
• Brief and manage creative projects with external agencies, coordinating across internal stakeholders and external partners with strong organizational discipline.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in content marketing, SEO, digital marketing, or a related role.
• Demonstrated SEO expertise including hands-on experience with keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO fundamentals, and content strategy for organic growth.
• AEO awareness and understanding of how AI-powered search engines surface content, with experience or strong interest in optimizing for AI-generated answers and citations.
• Practical experience using AI-driven tools for content creation, optimization, and workflow automation.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills with a clear eye for clarity, tone, and search-friendly content structure.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with a sense of urgency and strong organizational discipline.
• Creative, collaborative, and proactive mindset with a genuine eagerness to learn in a fast-moving environment.

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
