Future Group Translation and Localization Services is looking for experienced French Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) and Video Remote Interpreters (VRI) to join our growing global team.
As a remote interpreter, you will facilitate accurate and confidential communication between English-speaking and French-speaking individuals across a variety of industries, with a primary focus on medical interpretation. You will ensure clear, culturally appropriate, and professional communication during every interaction.
Fluent in English and a native French speaker.
At least 1 year of Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) experience with a reputable interpretation company.
Good knowledge of medical terminology.
Familiarity with legal terminology is an advantage.
Healthcare interpretation certifications such as PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, or similar are a plus.
High school diploma in your native language.
Excellent communication, active listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
High level of professionalism, emotional intelligence, and cultural awareness.
Since this is a fully remote position, applicants must meet the following technical requirements:
Dedicated, secure, high-speed internet connection.
Minimum 10 Mbps download.
Minimum 3 Mbps upload.
Wired Ethernet connection is mandatory (Wi-Fi is not permitted).
Windows 10 or later.
Intel Core i5 (or higher) dual-core processor with at least 2 GHz.
Minimum 8 GB RAM.
Computer must operate in High Performance mode.
Power adapter must remain connected during work.
MacBooks and Chromebooks are not supported.
Desktop or laptop computer only (mobile phones and tablets are not permitted).
External monitor(s), if applicable.
Wired USB noise-cancelling headset with a built-in microphone.
Wireless, Bluetooth, and 3.5 mm headsets are not permitted.
100% remote work.
