At Pomelo, we're looking for a Sales Manager, Global Card to lead the commercialization of the Global Card: our global card issuing platform that lets issuers, neobanks, and fintechs launch Visa and Mastercard card programs across 150+ countries with a single integration, settlement in USD or USDC, and all the infrastructure — BINs, processing, compliance, fraud, and reconciliation — operated end-to-end by Pomelo.

This is a pure business development role: no country P&L ownership, with a mandate to open, build, and close the commercial and strategic partnership pipeline for the Global Card in their region, acting as the sponsor of every deal from start to finish.

What challenges await you? Your day-to-day will be centered on six pillars:

• Business Development and Pipeline → Identify, prospect, and close deals with issuers, neobanks, crypto wallets, and fintechs looking to launch their own global card without building local infrastructure.
• Global Card Value Proposition → Clearly communicate why Pomelo solves what would otherwise take these clients months: pre-assigned BINs and fast go-live, unified settlement in USD or USDC, and compliance/fraud/reconciliation handled end-to-end by Pomelo.
• Executive Relationship Building → Build high-level relationships with decision-makers (CEOs, Heads of Product, Heads of Payments), acting as the commercial sponsor of the deal from first contact through go-live.
• Regional and Ecosystem Expansion → Represent Pomelo within the ecosystem of partners, wallets, and stablecoin providers in your region, building brand presence and identifying opportunities.
• Cross-functional Coordination → Align with Product, Legal/Compliance, Operations, and Finance to structure deals that are executable in each jurisdiction.
• Forecasting and Commercial Reporting → Maintain pipeline and revenue forecast with discipline, giving leadership visibility into the state of the global funnel.

What we expect from you:

• 8+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or partnerships in fintech, payments, or card issuing.
• Track record closing enterprise deals with issuers, neobanks, crypto wallets, or fintechs (long, complex sales cycles).
• Understanding of how a card issuing program works (BINs, processing, settlement) and, ideally, the stablecoin landscape in general — or the ability to learn it quickly and explain it clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Experience selling or presenting technical products to business decision-makers (CEOs, Heads of Product, Heads of Payments).
• Ability to operate autonomously in new markets, without local structure, building pipeline from scratch.
• Availability to travel and operate across your region's time zones.
• Fluent English (required in all regions); proficiency in relevant local languages is a plus (e.g., Mandarin or Hindi for APAC, Arabic or French for EMEA, Portuguese for LAC).
