Role Description

The Festival Operations Project Manager delivers projects across the Festival Operations portfolio at Live Nation (Music) UK Limited, reporting to the Senior Project Manager and leading on work streams within production and infrastructure. The role builds and manages supplier relationships, identifies new commercial opportunities, and supports the negotiation and ongoing management of supplier deals across the portfolio — partnering with event teams to deliver projects collaboratively and driving cost efficiencies, operational improvements and sustainability initiatives.

Beyond production and infrastructure, the role supports the wider Festival Operations team by collecting, analysing and organising project data, and by keeping projects on track through meeting administration, action tracking and documentation. The Project Manager meets regularly with Live Nation departments and external suppliers to ensure projects are delivered in line with business priorities.

• Relevant experience in a similar position within the live events industry
• Strong understanding of the festival and outdoor event business
• Knowledge of festival and outdoor event management and team structures, process, procedures, design, capacities, and methods is highly preferred
• Must possess strong task management abilities and seek out direction when task list runs out
• Self-motivated
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Must be very organised and disciplined with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

What the role includes

Project Management – Production & Infrastructure

• Lead on the delivery and ongoing development of production-related workstreams.
• Identify and research new supplier opportunities that could improve commercial terms, service quality or innovation across production and infrastructure.
• Assist in the negotiation of new commercial deals and rate agreements with production and infrastructure suppliers.
• Monitor and maintain existing supplier agreements — including an up-to-date record of active deals, rates and contract terms — ensuring contractual terms and service levels are upheld throughout the festival season.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with production and site/infrastructure suppliers across the festival portfolio, acting as day-to-day point of contact and resolving queries as they arise.
• Track supplier performance, maintaining records of deliverables, issues and resolutions to inform future negotiations and identify opportunities for cost savings, consolidation or improved terms.
• Collaborate with event teams to ensure projects are delivered and managed collaboratively with full information, and attend site visits as required.
• Support the research, development and implementation of practical initiatives that improve the sustainability and efficiency of production infrastructure.
• Assist with the coordination of procurement activity and supplier engagement for production-related projects, as directed.

Cross-Portfolio Project Support

• Prepare and maintain project documentation, action trackers, meeting agendas/notes and post-project reviews as required.
• Support project governance by monitoring actions, keeping stakeholders informed, and helping ensure deadlines are met across allocated workstreams.
• Assist with the preparation, formatting and organisation of legal and contractual documentation.
• Support the administrative coordination involved in implementing IT solutions and other operational efficiency initiatives, including data gathering, documentation and tracking of rollout progress.
• Help with process improvements, supporting the delivery of cost and operational efficiencies.
• Build and maintain spreadsheets, trackers and data records supporting projects across the portfolio, including data collection, formatting and basic analysis.
• Handle commercially sensitive information with discretion.
• Undertake additional tasks or projects as assigned, gaining exposure across the wider Festival Operations portfolio, and adapt to the changing focus of the team as directed.
