AWS Cloud Platform Architect – AWS DevOps

Our client, an IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a AWS Cloud Platform Architect – AWS DevOps for their Remote location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and automated AWS platform infrastructure, including server provisioning, platform services, and reusable cloud building blocks for enterprise workloads.
• Build and provision AWS infrastructure platforms (EC2, EKS, VPC, Storage, Load Balancers) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
• Develop standardized golden images / server builds (AMI pipelines, hardened OS baselines)
• Create reusable infrastructure modules and platform templates for application teams
• Implement platform-level services (logging, monitoring, backup, patching, security baselines)
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of platform components
• Integrate infrastructure deployments with CI/CD pipelines for automated provisioning
• Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, Security, and Application teams to enable self-service platforms
• Support troubleshooting of platform and infrastructure-related issues

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, EKS, S3, ELB)
• Experience in server build automation / image management (AMI lifecycle)
• Strong understanding of OS (Linux/Windows) and platform-level configurations
• Familiarity with container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS)
• Knowledge of cloud security fundamentals (IAM, network security, hardening)
• Preferred Skills
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
• Exposure to platform engineering concepts (self-service platforms, developer enablement)
• AWS Certification (Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer)
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Experience
• 8+ years in Cloud / Infrastructure / Platform Engineering
• AWS certification
