Job description

Join a high-performing team for an NYC-based custom apparel start-up

Fresh Prints is a New York-based custom apparel startup. We find incredible students and give them training and support to build the business at their schools.

We're looking for someone smart, detail-oriented, and pumped to join the Licensing team at Fresh Prints. You'll spend your days making sure designs meet licensing guidelines, catching issues before they become problems, and keeping communication clear with Internal Teams, Licensors, Universities, Organizations, and Campus Managers we work with.

Expectations from this role:

  • Detail-oriented, with a sharp eye for catching issues and offering clear solutions when they come up
  • Proactive: you don't wait to be told; you spot what needs fixing and act on it
  • Able to consistently hit daily KPIs for both output and quality
  • Good communicator, comfortable engaging with cross-team members, Campus Managers, and the Sales team
  • Responsible for submitting proofs through licensing portals accurately
  • Works well as part of a team, contributing to shared daily targets
  • Available during US business hours (non-negotiable)
  • Remote-ready: a reliable computer/laptop and stable internet connection are required
  • Comfortable joining video calls as needed: a working webcam and microphone are required

As Fresh Prints grows, you will too. For the right person, this role offers an excellent opportunity. You'll be given real ownership, the space to make an impact, and the guidance to grow both professionally and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review designs to ensure they comply with licensing and brand guidelines, flagging anything that could become an issue
  • Decide whether a design or proof needs revision, and communicate that clearly to the sales team or customer
  • Communicate with the Art team for design fixes
  • Provide feedback to Campus Managers or the Sales team on what needs to change in a proof
  • Upload proofs to licensing portals and track them through to approval
  • Review licensor verdicts and address any issues promptly
  • Answer licensing-related questions and keep Campus Managers updated
  • Flag order predictions when needed to help the team stay ahead of demand
  • Escalate issues to your manager, team lead, or the relevant team when needed
  • Address licensing-related order issues as they come up
  • Assist with administrative licensing tasks, such as RFP (Request for Proposal) coordination and royalty reporting

Essential Requirements:

  • No prior experience needed: we're looking for someone smart and quick to learn
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong reading comprehension: able to understand and apply detailed information accurately
  • Highly organized, especially when managing multiple submissions and proofs
  • Able to make sound decisions independently, with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable working under tight timelines

Personal Attributes:

  • Goal-Driven: You’re set on your goals and respect the timelines your goals are bound by.
  • Proactive: You believe it’s always on you to make sure anything you do is a success. In love with challenges. You revel in solving problems and want a job that pushes you out of your comfort zone
  • Calm under pressure: You have a sense of urgency but channel it into productively working through any issues
  • Open to Invent and simplify: You’re inspired by the endless ways in which everything we do can always be improved

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Monthly salary of $400 to $550 (depending on experience)
  • Health Insurance
  • Learning Opportunities

Location and timings:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST (US Timings)
  • Remote (The Philippines)
