Job Title: Accountant

Job Type: Full Time

Location: Pakistan (Remote), supporting U.S.-based BPO operations

Job Summary

Cordatus Resource Group is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to support accounting and bookkeeping functions for our US-based clients. The ideal candidate will have hands-on accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of international accounting practices. This role offers an opportunity to work directly with US businesses across various industries and gain exposure to global financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Review financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with client-facing teams to ensure financial accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Assist in audit preparation and compliance-related documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and client-specific reporting requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
  • ACCA or CA (Part Qualified / Currently Pursuing).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems is preferred.
  • Strong written and spoken English proficiency, with the ability to communicate professionally with U.S.-based clients and stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines.
  • Availability to work full-time during U.S. business hours
    (6:00 PM – 3:00 AM Pakistan Time, Monday to Friday)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with US clients or international accounting processes.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based accounting systems and financial technologies.
  • Experience in outsourced accounting or shared services environments.
