Job description

Product Manager – Growth & Innovation (m/f/d)

Location: Full-Remote within the EU (Headquarters: Kassel, Germany)

Employment Type: Full-time

Department: Product Management

Industry: FinTech / Financial Services (11–50 Employees)

Required Experience: Minimum 3+ years in Product Management, Product Ownership, or Growth Management

About Us

Transaction metrics from bank accounts reveal the complete story of banking users. Our overarching mission is to empower corporate partners to comprehend and utilize these rich data streams swiftly, simply, and effectively to produce optimal returns.

We operate as a contemporary, data-centric FinTech organization featuring a culture grounded in transparency, directness, and mutual respect. We collaborate flatly as peers, value logical reasoning over tenure, and build our workflow around personal responsibility rather than micromanagement. Functioning in an agile, remote-first operational framework, we constantly organize, simplify, decide swiftly, and refine.

We are seeking a strategically minded, execution-oriented Product Manager – Growth & Innovation to direct the growth and technological advancement of our top-tier account switching solution set across European markets.

Your Key Responsibilities

Product Vision & Roadmap Ownership: Maintain full end-to-end accountability for the strategic vision, directional goals, and development roadmap of our account-switching core suite. Lead both incremental feature updates and major product expansions.

European Market Growth & Opportunity Discovery: Uncover, validate, and convert new European market opportunities and application scenarios. Lead raw ideas through strict validation frameworks all the way to nationwide and international releases.

Data-Driven Backlog Prioritization: Rigorously sort and order developer task backlogs utilizing robust analytics, transactional data, and validated user feedback to drive rapid business growth.

Strategic Leadership & Sparring Partner: Serve as a key thought partner to our Managing Director of Banking to refine product strategy, align commercial targets, and maintain streamlined, rapid decision loops.

Requirement Engineering & Execution: Convert complex specs from banking clients, industry partners, and global users into well-organized, unambiguous, and actionable epics and user stories for engineering.

KPI Tracking & Continuous Iteration: Establish distinct target metrics across all feature rollouts and product versions. Continuously evaluate real performance against quantitative benchmarks to drive rapid iteration cycles.

Ideal Candidate Profile & Requirements

Must-Haves:

Professional Experience: 3+ years of direct experience holding roles like Product Manager, Product Owner, or Growth Manager, ideally inside a FinTech, financial institution, or SaaS/API-driven company.

Data-Driven & Entrepreneurial Mindset: Robust business instinct complemented by a proven habit of making product calls based on solid data, metrics, and customer evidence rather than pure intuition.

Language Skills: C1-level command of both German and English (spoken and written) is essential to effectively handle stakeholder and client communication across DACH and international markets.

Tool Proficiency: Active daily experience utilizing agile workflow software like Jira as well as quantitative tools like Microsoft Excel.

Communication & Execution: Outstanding verbal and written communication competencies, with a knack for clarifying technical subjects for engineers, client teams, and board-level executives.

Travel Willingness: Preparedness to travel roughly once per quarter for in-person team retreats in Kassel, Germany, alongside occasional pre-agreed client engagements.

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience launching or expanding SaaS or API-based financial solutions across European boundaries.

Proficiency in other European languages in addition to German and English.

What We Offer: Culture & Compensation

Competitive Financial Package:

Base Salary: €60,000 – €75,000 gross per year (depending on individual qualifications and background).

Bonus: Annual variable bonus linked to 100% individual goal achievement.

Ultimate Work Flexibility: 100% remote job setup (5 days a week within EU borders) with flexible working hours and workation options.

Generous Vacation Policy: 28 annual paid vacation days, plus automatic paid days off on December 24th and December 31st.

Impact & Direct Decision-Making: Great personal autonomy over an industry-leading product line, operating in flat corporate hierarchies with direct interaction with executive leaders.

Data & AI Infrastructure: Leverage a high-end tech environment fueled by data-based intelligence derived from over 240 million transaction data points.

Benefits & On-Site Amenities: Comprehensive corporate perks program, team-building events, and full access to our dog-friendly, modern office premises in Kassel, Germany.
