Long Beach Corporate Office

Starting Compensation:

75,000.00 to 95,000.00 USD Per Year

Working Location:

Remote | California Residence Required

Working Hours/Shift:

Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00 PM

How You Will Make an Impact (Job Overview)

This position monitors and directs quality assurance and compliance for assigned regional programs, overseeing incident investigations, licensing and certification tasks (such as LPS and Medi-Cal), client chart audits, and policy implementation. You will guide new department heads through QA orientation, ensure alignment with federal, state, and county standards, and drive the SBHG Total Quality Management (TQM) system—including continuous quality improvement, data utilization, staff training, and Joint Commission compliance.

What You Bring to SBHG (Qualifications)

Education & Licensure:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, Mental Health, or Nursing discipline plus 6 years of experience in a mental health setting; OR
  • Advanced Degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Human Services, Mental Health, or Nursing; OR
  • Professional Licensure (including LVN, RN, LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, Psychologist) or Certification (Healthcare Compliance/Privacy, Health Information/Medical Records) plus 2 years of experience in Human Services, Mental Health, or Nursing which includes supervision, training, and/or consultation. (Note: Four additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.)
  • Core Experience: Background must include quality assurance support or oversight, program management, supervision, training, and/or consultation.
