Shift:

The regular hours for this position are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday from 6:00pm to 6:15am. You will receive a 15% shift differential for working on the night shift.

Job Description:

The Quality Assurance Technician 1 is responsible for performing detailed inspections and quality control activities to ensure products meet internal standards and customer specifications. This role requires strong technical inspection skills, proficiency with microscopes and measurement tools, and the ability to collaborate with engineering and operations teams. The Technician will support both in‑process and final inspection workflows in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspection & Quality Control

  • Perform detailed defect inspections of advanced probing technology products using the Olympus MX‑50 microscope and other precision inspection tools.

  • Conduct in‑process inspections to verify product quality during various manufacturing stages.

  • Complete finished goods inspections to ensure all outgoing material meets customer and internal specifications.

  • Capture and document high-quality inspection images of components and products.

Nonconformance Management

  • Identify nonconforming product and generate accurate, timely nonconformance reports.

  • Partner with engineering teams to support investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions related to quality issues.

Data & Documentation

  • Validate outgoing product data to ensure compliance with customer requirements.

  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain up-to-date inventory information in the appropriate database systems.

  • Follow detailed work instructions, SOPs, and documentation standards to maintain product traceability and compliance.

Teamwork & Operational Support

  • Work within a shift-based team environment to support daily quality, engineering, and production activities.

  • Contribute both as a collaborative team member and as an individual contributor to help meet daily inspection and production quotas.

  • Follow a compressed work schedule (3x4) as assigned.

Pay Range:

$19.30 - $25.36

Pay Range Explained:

This role in Livermore, California pays between $19.30 and $25.36 per hour, depending on your experience, skills, and background. Pay may vary in other locations. We offer a full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, a 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase plan (ESPP), and paid time off. You’ll also be eligible for quarterly profit-sharing bonuses and flexible spending or savings accounts.
