Location: Massachusetts statewide remote. Attorneys may reside anywhere in Massachusetts and work fully remotely. Initial interviews are virtual.
Note: Candidates must reside in Massachusetts, hold an active Massachusetts Bar license in good standing, and have 2+ years of management-side labor and employment experience. Attorneys with experience advising schools or educational institutions are especially attractive. More senior candidates should have demonstrated business development ability and ideally portable client relationships.

Job Description
- Represent employers in labor and employment matters before state and federal courts and government agencies
- Handle employment litigation from initial strategy through resolution
- Represent clients before agencies including the MCAD, EEOC, and NLRB
- Advise employers on federal and Massachusetts employment laws and day-to-day workplace issues
- Draft employment agreements, policies, position statements, motions, briefs, and other sophisticated legal documents
- Handle labor arbitrations, negotiations, unfair labor practice matters, and traditional labor issues
- Develop practical strategies that balance legal risk with clients' broader business objectives
- Communicate directly with clients and take meaningful ownership of matters
- Collaborate with experienced attorneys on complex employment, labor, and potentially education-related matters
Qualifications
- 2+ years of management-side labor and employment law experience
- Active Massachusetts Bar admission in good standing
- JD from an accredited law school
- Experience with employment litigation, counseling, government agencies, arbitration, or traditional labor matters
- Strong legal research, writing, advocacy, and client communication skills
- Practical, strategic, proactive approach to problem solving
- Experience representing schools, educational institutions, nonprofits, or education-related clients preferred
- Additional state Bar admissions are a plus
