As a Senior Project Manager at U.S. Renal Care, you will lead complex business and technology initiatives from initiation through implementation. This role is responsible for driving project execution, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring successful delivery of strategic outcomes. The Senior Project Manager serves as a trusted partner to business leaders, technology teams, and vendors by providing leadership, governance, and communication throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects from concept through completion using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches while maintaining accountability for project outcomes, timelines, quality, and business value.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams comprised of business stakeholders, technical resources, third-party vendors, consultants, and contracted resources.
  • Develop and execute project plans, delivery roadmaps, budgets, resource plans, and governance strategies aligned to business objectives.
  • Facilitate project planning activities including scope definition, requirements review, schedule development, resource coordination, and dependency management.
  • Provide clear, concise, and executive-level communication regarding project status, risks, issues, dependencies, key decisions, and recommendations.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and elevate project risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies to ensure timely resolution and minimize impacts to scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Drive project outcomes by removing impediments, facilitating decision-making, and promoting accountability across project teams.
  • Develop communication and stakeholder engagement plans and facilitate project meetings, working sessions, and Steering Committee meetings.
  • Apply Agile principles and practices as appropriate, facilitating team ceremonies and planning activities to promote efficient delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to PMO methodologies, governance standards, reporting requirements, and project management best practices.
  • Manage project change requests, implementation planning, deployment activities, and post-implementation support coordination.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and implementation partners to ensure delivery commitments and contractual obligations are met.
  • Lead organizational readiness activities and partner with stakeholders to support adoption of project deliverables.
  • Conduct post-project reviews and facilitate Lessons Learned sessions to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Foster collaboration, transparency, and accountability across project teams and stakeholders.
  • Actively promote GUEST customer service standards and develop effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required.
Qualifications:

Qualifications / Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required.

Experience

  • 7+ years of project management experience leading cross-functional business and technology initiatives.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with varying levels of complexity and organizational impact.
  • Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery environments.
  • Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience leading vendor-supported implementations and managing external delivery partners preferred.

Certifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Agile certification such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong leadership, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive results without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into business-friendly language.
  • Experience managing stakeholder expectations and organizational change.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools, including Monday.com, Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Microsoft 365 applications.
